At the time of writing this article, Windows were the only option in the company I worked for. So I had to find a way to merge Windows and Linux. Now, I'm a Linux user myself and I'd always choose Linux over Windows.

That being said, I still prefer to have the Windows + WSL setup on my laptop, because it gives me the best of both worlds when I'm on the move. When I'm working from my home office I use my Linux-powered PC.

Still, I cannot work on Libre Office. Maybe it's a matter of personal preference, but I find it hard to use and collaborate with others. I always return to Microsoft Office or even Google's products. Finally, I wrote my thesis on Latex, which I consider to be the best option for this kind of documents.
